Cheerful and sacrificial giving is part of offering holistic worship to God. God does not need what we have, but giving reminds us that everything we have was given by God and we depend on Him to meet our every need. Giving expresses our gratitude to God by using His resources to continue telling His story in our church, our community and across the world.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  2 Corinthians 9:7
