Taya Barber
Director: My name is Taya Barber and I serve as the Director for Pathfinder Kids Child Care Program. I have taught preschool for 16 years in various classrooms in Indiana. I have my CDA and am currently enrolled full time at Kellogg Community College for my associates in Early Childhood Education. Teaching is my passion, giving children hands on play based learning experiences!
I have 4 children of my own who keep me very busy, Zoie, Emersen, Kohrben, and Everly. We enjoy sports, summertime, and spending as much time together as possible doing various family activities!
Santana Watson
My name is Santana Watson and I am the Pathfinder Kids Assistant Director and Lead School Age Teacher. I have 4 children and 3 dogs. I have worked in childcare for over 10 years and hold an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Florida and moved to Michigan in late 2006. I enjoy working with children and helping them to grow. Some of my hobbies include outdoor adventures, traveling, art, riding ATVs and rock hunting. My goal is to help make your child's experience here enjoyable while providing the skills for them to grow independently. We will be working to provide a safe learning environment where everyone can thrive and be themselves.
